Classics @ The Presby

Abstract Futuristic Background

Classics @ The Presby began in 2011, when pianist Mary Jo Cox and tubist Mark Cox proposed a recital series inviting guest artists to collaborate with them in presenting light classical repertoire to the community at large. They present concerts in a relaxed atmosphere so that both experienced concert-goers and those who are new to the experience feel comfortable and have a rewarding experience. There is never an admission charge.

• Typically four concerts a year located at First Presbyterian Church Mount Pleasant

• Concerts are on Sundays at 4:00 pm

• Friendly concerts of themed light classics, ranging from 45 minutes to an hour in length

• Free light snacks and drinks, including fresh coffee donated by Starbucks
